What format is the 24 Hours of Hockey for Wishes?
4 teams of 15 skaters and 2 goalies will play each other over a 24 hour period. Each team will play 12 games, most games being an hour and a few double headers.
I just started playing hockey or don’t have a lot of exprience, can I still sign up?
Absolutely! This even is about raising money for a great cause and having a good time playing a wonderful sport, all skills levels are welcome.
I don’t play hockey but I would like to set up my own personal fundraising page, can I still sign up?
Yes!! You can register as a fundraiser from the “Registration” menu item at the top of this page.
How do I create my personal fundraising page?
Personal fundraising pages are created automatically when you register. To register, click the “Registration” menu item at the top of this page and complete the registration form.
I have donors who do not like giving online, can they donate anyway?
Yes! You can find the offline pledge form from the “Donate” menu at the top of this page.
How do I increase my fundraising goal?
Your fundraising goal can be edited via your personal fundraising page. Remember to aim high!
How do I edit the information on my personal fundraising page?
You information can be edited via your personal fundraising page. Visit your page by clicking the “Donate” link at the top of this page then click on your name. Click the “Edit my fundraising page” button at the bottom of your personal fundraising page to begin making changes. If you cannot edit your page, click the “Login” button on the right side of the page to log in before attempting to edit your page.
Can I get a tax receipt for my registration fee?
Registration fees are not tax receiptable as they cover the cost of the event to ensure that all donations go directly to Make-A-Wish Eastern Ontario.
