It is with regret we inform you that this year’s Hockey 4 Wishes event is cancelled.  Circumstances beyond our control have led to this decision and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you or your family plans this summer.

All registrants will be fully refunded.  You will receive confirmation through PayPal when your refund has been processed.  All donors will be contacted to confirm if they would like their money refunded or still have it donated to Make A Wish Eastern Ontario.

The event will be back in 2017 so please stay tuned.  In the meantime we are encouraging everyone to continue to support Make A Wish Eastern Ontario and Tysen’s Mission through the 5th Annual John Shouldice Memorial Golf Tournament.  This event will be held Tuesday August 23rd, 2016 at Eagle Creek Golf and Country Club.  For more information please contact

Over $100,000 Raised for Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario!

Last year’s 24 Hours of Hockey for Wishes event was a huge success, raising a total of nearly $30,000 for Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario – bringing our 4 year total to over $100,000! We are currently preparing the 2017 event – stay tuned for details!.

We are looking for event sponsors to help build on our past successes and make this year’s event our biggest yet!


24 Hours of Hockey for Wishes, is a fun and challenging hockey event organized to raise money for Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario whose mission is to grant the wishes of children suffering from life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience through Hope, Strength and Joy.


Adult recreational non-contact mixed hockey players looking to sweat and have fun in a series of non-competitive pickup hockey games to raise money for kids.


Proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish® Eastern Ontario and will go towards granting wishes for children in the Ottawa region!

      • 4 Teams
      • 15 Skaters and 2 Goalies per Team
      • 12 games per team over a 24 hour period
        (Most games are 1 hour, with a few double headers)
      • 3 meals provided during the event
      • Gala Brunch on the Sunday morning following the event
      • Professional Personalized Hockey Jersey and matching socks for all Participants
